{"id":10136,"date":"2024-04-05T02:01:10","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T02:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wifamily.news\/?p=10136"},"modified":"2024-04-12T06:40:54","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T06:40:54","slug":"washington-county-finds-buyer-for-samaritan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wifamily.news\/?p=10136","title":{"rendered":"Washington County Finds Buyer for Samaritan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This post originally appeared at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bootsandsabers.com\/2024\/04\/04\/washington-county-finds-buyer-for-samaritan\/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=washington-county-finds-buyer-for-samaritan\">https:\/\/www.bootsandsabers.com\/2024\/04\/04\/washington-county-finds-buyer-for-samaritan\/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=washington-county-finds-buyer-for-samaritan<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_21\">WEST BEND \u2014 The Washington County Board on Wednesday night voted to sell Samaritan to EOM Healthcare Group, contingent upon negotiations between EOM Healthcare Group and the county.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_21\">\u201cWe have determined that we are dealing with a qualified offer and a qualified buyer,\u201d said Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann. \u201cThey have an offer for us to consider that we think is worthy of your consideration.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_21\">EOM Healthcare Group owns Middleton Village Nursing and Rehab in Middleton, Lincoln Park Nursing and Rehab in Racine, and Bradley Estates Nursing and Rehab in Milwaukee, as well as others across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_2\">There were three key conditions that the county was looking for a buyer to accept, including taking care of the residents, taking care of the staff and keeping the skilled nursing licenses within West Bend, if not Washington County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_2\">According to EOM Healthcare Group\u2019s Jacob Jeidel, the main owner, those conditions fit perfectly into their mission. Additionally, EOM healthcare Group said they would keep the facility name, Samaritan, the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"abody\"><span class=\"Fid_2\">\u201cEOM is actually an acronym, it stands for everyone matters,\u201d said Jeidel. \u201cI think where that really comes into light is \u2026everybody knows that the<\/span><span class=\"Fid_2\">\u00a0residents come first, and that\u2019s obvious.
