In 2022 the organization\u2019s president called herself a \u201cMarxist lesbian,\u201d adding to the concerns.<\/p>\n<p>There was a time in our nation when we could pretty easily and happily celebrate National Library Week. Unfortunately, that\u2019s not the case today. We urge citizens to engage with their local public library by keeping tabs on their material selection, especially for children and youth.
