They assert that Wisconsin is a battleground state in what they call, quote, \u201cthe nationwide effort to safeguard individuals\u2019 fundamental right to contraception through the passage of the Right to Contraception Act,\u201d a federal policy proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Surely Americans are asking when access to contraception became a right. Contraception is not health care; it is a personal choice regarding childbearing. Individuals who want contraception should be able to access it and either pay directly or through their insurance.
