These are the people you see berating the poor barista for putting too little oat milk in their latte.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The liberal partisans on the Wisconsin Supreme Court are erasing former conservative Justice David Prosser\u2019s name from the state Law Library, a move that conservative Justice Rebecca Bradley labeled a \u201cpetty and vindictive maneuver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They are replacing his name with the name of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/womeninwisconsin.org\/profile\/lavinia-goodell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lavinia Goodell,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cWisconsin\u2019s first female lawyer,\u201d according to a press release from the Court.<\/p>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, then Supreme Court Chief Justice Pat Roggensack, a conservative,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsaw.com\/content\/news\/WI-law-library-to-be-named-after-Justice-David-Prosser-387032031.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced that<\/a>\u00a0the law library would be named after Prosser \u201cin light of Prosser\u2019s upcoming retirement and many years of service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prosser served on the court for 18 years. He was first appointed to the court by Republican Gov. Tommy Thompson in 1998 and was re-elected twice,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wicourts.gov\/courts\/supreme\/justices\/retired\/prosser.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to his court bio.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Supreme Court press release at the time the law library was named for Prosser says, \u201cIn all, Prosser spent more than 40 years in public service, including experience in all three branches of state government. He retired July 31, after 18 years on the Supreme Court.
