Vote YES<\/strong> to Check Evers\u2019 Out-of-Control Spending<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

On August 13th, VOTE YES on Questions 1 & 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

On August 13, 2024<\/strong> there will be a statewide ballot initiative to approve two amendments to the Wisconsin Constitution that would give the legislature the ability to approve the expenditure of federal funds.<\/p>\n

Currently, unlike the vast majority of states, Governor Tony Evers and his executive branch spend billions of dollars of federal funds without any approval from the state legislature,<\/strong> who wields the constitutional \u201cpower of the purse\u201d.<\/p>\n

Voting YES on questions 1 & 2<\/strong> on the August 13th ballot will prevent the executive branch from unilaterally spending federal dollars towards their preferred projects and provide a necessary check on their power from the state legislature. This ballot initiative will help solidify the constitutional separation of powers present in the Wisconsin Constitution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
