The campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated her first official campaign event near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday night, billing it as a massive success.<\/p>\n

Harris\u2019 rally was not held at a \u201cstadium.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rather, it was held in the gymnasium of West Allis Central High School, a Democrat stronghold just southwest of Milwaukee. This fact was not lost on X users, who pointed out that Harris and her supporters were clearly exaggerating the magnitude of the event.<\/p>\n

Wisconsin was a battleground state in 2020. President Joe Biden, who, after pressure from top-level Democrats, quit his 2024 reelection campaign, edged out Trump<\/a> by .7 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n

A total of 1,630,866 Wisconsinites voted for Biden, while 1,610,184 voted for Trump.<\/p>\n
