Ahead of the primary in Wisconsin\u2019s 8th Congressional District, WMC hosted a debate for the GOP candidates vying for the open seat vacated by Mike Gallagher earlier in the year.<\/p>\n

The three candidates, State Senator Andre Jacque, former State Senator Roger Roth, and businessman Tony Wied answered a variety of questions from WMC\u2019s Kurt Bauer, Scott Manley, and Rachel Ver Velde.<\/span><\/p>\n

Topics centered around economic and business issues, including inflation, affordable and reliable energy, regulation reform, national security, defending the free market and consumer choice, and healthcare costs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roth and Wied touted their business experience and endorsements, while Jacque spoke to his record of conservatism in the state legislature.<\/span><\/p>\n
