Sen. Feyen was honored for his work during the most recent legislative session.<\/p>\n<p>The Working for Wisconsin Award recognizes legislators who supported specific pro-growth policies and earned a high rating on WMC\u2019s biennial legislative scorecard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur state\u2019s business climate and economic outlook are dependent on policymakers who choose to champion pro-business legislation,\u201d said WMC President &amp; CEO Kurt R. Bauer. \u201cIn order to be the most competitive state to do business, legislators must actively work to improve our tax climate, cut burdensome regulations and foster entrepreneurship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Working for Wisconsin Award is based on individual voting records, regardless of a legislator\u2019s partisan affiliation. Legislators who earn the award each session supported pro-growth policies and reforms aimed at improving the state\u2019s business climate. All Wisconsin legislators are considered for the award, but it is only earned by those who consistently vote to make Wisconsin a better place to do business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSen. Feyen has shown a continuous commitment to growing our economy, attracting and retaining a talented workforce, and improving the overall health of our business environment,\u201d added WMC Executive Vice President of Government Relations Scott Manley. \u201cWe look forward to our continued work with legislators like Sen. Feyen who share our goal of making Wisconsin the best state to live, work and play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Working for Wisconsin Award winners must receive at least a 70 percent rating on the WMC Legislative Scorecard. Sen.
