WILL argues that because the WIAA monopolizes high school sports and has binding power over the public, including nearly ninety-thousand student-athletes, their parents, and public school officials, it should be considered a state actor and be bound by the state and federal constitutions.<\/p>\n<p>Other states have already decided that organizations similar to WIAA are state actors. It makes sense for our state to do the same. Parents, student-athletes, and even public-school officials should not lose their constitutional rights because they are part of WIAA.
