The law was nullified by <em>Roe<\/em>, but was never revoked by the legislature or voters. One of the court\u2019s liberal justices said the attorney defending the law was asking them to sign a \u201cdeath warrant\u201d for women and children in Wisconsin. The AP reported that the two-hour session amounted to little more than political theater.<\/p>\n<p>The unfortunate reality is that Wisconsin\u2019s current laws are a \u201cdeath warrant\u201d for thousands of babies each year who are killed in the womb. Reinstating a law prohibiting abortion and respecting every person\u2019s right to life is the only policy that does not promote death.
