The report also notes that only 30% of parents feel extremely confident that their children are being prepared for the workforce, and only 26% are extremely confident their child will be ready for college.<\/p>\n<p>The report also found that most parents significantly underestimate what the state spends to educate a child, with the average district spending over $17,000 per student. Notably the report says most parents feel they have a choice about where they send their kids to school.
