He will focus on strategic planning, mission development, and other outward-facing activities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">The Quotes: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">WILL President and General Counsel, Rick Esenberg, stated, \u201cThese changes in responsibilities largely reflect the growth of WILL. Dan joined WILL in 2021 and started the Equality Under the Law Project, which to date has represented over 80 clients from 25 states. During that time, WILL has expanded its nationwide reputation, filing 12 lawsuits against the Biden Administration and chalking up several groundbreaking victories.\u00a0 Dan previously served as the Assistant Deputy Attorney General at the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and before that, as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice. He also teaches a course on Constitutional Litigation at the University of Wisconsin School of Law.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Lesley Luehrs Quartana Background: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Lesley serves as the Chief Advancement Officer for WILL. She came to WILL originally as a volunteer on the Professor McAdams case then assumed a full-time role at WILL in early 2019. Before starting her family, Lesley was the Early Talent Manager and a Staffing Team Leader at GE Healthcare IT. After the birth her son, she stayed home with him and pursued her master\u2019s degree at Concordia University Wisconsin where she was then asked to serve on the executive team that implemented the School of Pharmacy at Concordia and worked full time as their first Director of Student Affairs. She completed her undergraduate work at Texas Woman\u2019s University in Denton, Texas.\u00a0<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">ABOUT WILL: <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">We litigate, educate and participate in public discourse.
