Conservatives hail this as a common-sense decision that is a great move for the state, for women, and for women\u2019s and girls\u2019 sports in the Badger State. Wisconsin Family Council\u2019s sister organization, Wisconsin Family Action, supported legislation last year that would have ensured the protection of women\u2019s sports, as well as the privacy and safety of women in high school sports around Wisconsin.\u00a0 However, Governor Evers vetoed this bill.<\/p>\n<p>We applaud this decision by the WIAA as they affirm directives from the Trump administration on this issue. Girls deserve to be safe, to have their privacy protected, and to have every opportunity to earn a spot on a team, to play for and gain championships, and to have equal access to athletic scholarships.
