Kurt Bauer, head of the state\u2019s largest business group, said there will be \u201cunknown consequences\u201d with President Trump\u2019s proposed tariffs, but that Wisconsin\u2019s business community is \u201cby and large supportive of what the president is trying to accomplish to create a free, fair and reciprocal trade with other nations,\u201d on this weekend\u2019s UpFront segment hosted by WISN\u2019s Matt Smith.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest concern is that Canada and Mexico are our two largest trading partners,\u201d Bauer said. \u201cSo we have a positive trade balance with Canada, we want to continue that. We have a long-standing relationship. We are a manufacturing state. We\u2019re an agricultural state. We make things. We grow things. We process them. We want to sell them around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
