Federal law enforcement officials arrested a Texas man after he allegedly threatened to harm deportation officers and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem herself.<\/p>\n

Robert King, a U.S. citizen living in north Texas, was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations, a law enforcement division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the agency\u00a0announced Wednesday<\/a>. Federal officials say King had made a number of alarming posts on social media, including a threat to \u201copen fire\u201d against any ICE agents spotted in his neighborhood and other threatening posts against Noem.<\/p>\n

Robert King, a U.S. citizen was recently taken into custody in McKinney, Texas for making terroristic threats against ICE agents and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike Secretary Noem said: If you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,\u201d a senior DHS official stated to the Daily Caller News Foundation.<\/p>\n

The arrest follows a period of vandalism and other violent acts across the U.S., ostensibly directed at the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

There are believed to be at least\u00a080 reported cases<\/a>\u00a0of vandalism or arson\u00a0attacks<\/a>\u00a0against Tesla properties, a company which is lead by Elon Musk, a senior advisor to President Donald Trump. Such Tesla attacks have included shot out windows, Molotov cocktails, torched charging stations, incendiary devices, \u201cNazi\u201d spray-painted on cars and other incidents \u2014 prompting federal law enforcement officials\u00a0to establish<\/a>\u00a0a task force to crack down on the matter.<\/p>\n

Increasingly aggressive student demonstrations against government policy \u2014\u00a0which have allegedly included the occupation of university property and the harassment of Jewish students \u2014 have also been addressed by the administration. The State Department has\u00a0revoked<\/a>\u00a0the visas of roughly 300 foreign students who allegedly participated in pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic demonstrations.<\/p>\n

As the Trump administration continues to prioritize the detainment and deportation of illegal migrants across the U.S., a number of White House opponents have openly teased interference.<\/p>\n

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, a Democrat,\u00a0walked back<\/a>\u00a0his statements after previously suggesting in November that he would deploy the Denver Police Department to the county lines to stop ICE agents from entering his city\u2019s jurisdiction. New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a major critic of immigration enforcement, asked the Department of Justice in February if she was\u00a0being investigated<\/a>\u00a0after her office hosted a webinar meant to coach illegal migrants how to avoid ICE arrest.<\/p>\n

Border czar Tom Homan, who is leading the administration\u2019s deportation efforts, has\u00a0made it clear<\/a>\u00a0that blatant instances of obstruction against his ICE agents will result in referral for prosecution.<\/p>\n

Noem has\u00a0previously declared<\/a>\u00a0that overt threats against law enforcement officers will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you threaten or attempt to harm a law enforcement officer we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,\u201d the secretary said in March, responding to a Tik Tok video calling for viewers to shoot at ICE agents \u201con sight.\u201d<\/p>\n

In one of the social media posts allegedly made by King, he threatened bodily harm against Noem and characterized her as a Nazi,\u00a0according to<\/a>\u00a0NBC 5.<\/p>\n
