A key finding in Wilkinson\u2019s cited research shows that when men are married and involved in their children\u2019s lives, they are more likely to work full-time. Wilkinson argues that \u201c[this finding] demonstrates something deeply intuitive yet often overlooked: that purpose is a powerful motivator for productivity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This research reinforces God\u2019s grand design for men. He designed them to be productive protectors. When men feel needed\u2014when they are responsible for someone beyond themselves\u2014they often rise to the occasion.
