THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

That day began like any other day down on the sidewalks in front of the abortion center. On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Ellen* was counseling women entering the abortion center when something happened that was completely unexpected\u2014a reminder that God is working with and through us even when we are not aware of it. He is always faithful.<\/p>\n

You see, at Pro-Life Wisconsin, we know not everything we do can be measured with data or statistics in real time.\u00a0 Some of the things we do are simply immeasurable today, but we do it anyway in the hope that possibly even one life will be spared from abortion, somehow, someway.\u00a0 We saw it happen that other day out on the sidewalks.\u00a0 A young black man drove up into an abortion center\u2019s<\/span> parking lot and rolled down his window and waved to one of the sidewalk counselors, Ellen, to come speak with him.\u00a0She braced herself, half expecting to get yelled at for her work on the sidewalks.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Much to her surprise, he said, \u201cThank you for being here.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

The young man continued. \u201cIf your people had not been out there when my mom went to go get an abortion on me, I would not be here today.\u00a0You pro-lifers saved my life. My mom told me that the person that spoke to her before she went into her abortion appointment said, \u2018You are going to walk out of this place with your baby.<\/strong> You aren\u2019t going to do it.\u2019 \u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He finished. \u201cAnd that\u2019s exactly what she did, and here I am, happy to be alive!\u00a0 Don\u2019t ever stop what you are doing.\u00a0 Thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ellen told me she guessed that the young man was about thirty years <\/strong>old! <\/strong>I wasn\u2019t out there thirty-plus years ago\u2014but someone was!<\/strong>\u00a0That man will be celebrating Christmas with his family again this year because that one person took the time to make a difference in someone else\u2019s life\u2014over thirty years ago<\/strong>!\u00a0<\/p>\n
