Each Monday for the next three weeks leading up to Giving Tuesday on December 2nd, I will be sharing with you how your gift impacts what we do here in light of one of our three pillars: Educate. Legislate. Activate.

I am delighted by the fact that one of our main pillars at Pro-Life Wisconsin is: EDUCATE.

Prior to being the Development Director at Pro-Life Wisconsin, I was in student ministry for 14 years teaching, leading, and shepherding teenagers aged 12-18 through the most transformative part of their lives. I have always had a passion for pointing students to the truth that comes from God’s Word.

Now at Pro-Life Wisconsin, my work with teenagers is less frequent. But occasionally, I will have the opportunity to connect with students about the pro-life cause and take part in speaking events or roundtable Q&A’s, educating churches and youth groups about our work.

Recently, I received a small and sweet donation to Pro-Life Wisconsin from a 12-year-old girl. She included a handwritten note that read:

I am only 12, but I’m very pro-life. I have a little brother, who is not even 1 yet, and I love him so much. I can’t even fathom why someone would want to kill something so precious. My donation is small, but I want it to go to something good!

This letter was so thoughtful, so moving, and so heartfelt, that I swiftly wrote back encouraging her and reminding her of how grateful we are for her gift and that it will help save more babies in Wisconsin. Moments like this are why we educate. So that the next generation knows the tragedy and atrocity of abortion and that they too will stand for life.

We spread the pro-life message by pointing people to the truth about abortion, whether it’s a simple tabling event, a speaking engagement, connecting people with our statewide affiliate groups, or through our website and social media engagement; education is crucial. This pillar truly helps educate everyone on the facts of life in the womb and the sad realities of abortion.

Know that when you donate to Pro-Life Wisconsin, it is going to something good: the education of the pro-life message all across Wisconsin.

This GivingTuesday and every day, when you donate to Pro-Life Wisconsin, you help us spread the pro-life message and build a culture of life here in our great state. Help us reach our GivingTuesday goal of $15,00 with your gift.

GivingTuesday Donations

*What is #GivingTuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a day of thanksgiving for the work done by nonprofits, and it takes place every year the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day. On this day, supporters of these organizations are invited to share generously by donating to the important work being done by these organizations, including Pro-Life Wisconsin. Last year’s #GivingTuesday campaign raised over $15,000 to help us promote the right to life in Wisconsin. Please join us in 2025 as we raise the funds to continue our mission with your help.
