Janet Prostasiewicz doesn\u2019t plan to follow Wisconsin\/s Constitution and Laws if she is elected to Wisconsin\u2019s Supreme Court.\u00a0\u00a0 Prostasiewicz wants to impose her personal values on everyone in Wisconsin, and use them to legislate from the bench<\/em> to make new law or change the laws that don\u2019t meet \u2018her values\u2019.<\/em>\u00a0 <\/strong>How do you know?<\/p>\n

Prostasiewicz says she will come to the court with her own values, stating: \u201cYou bring your values to the court every day,\u201d <\/em>and \u201cYou bring your values<\/strong>, values like your belief in democracy, which kind of leads me in the way that I philosophically think<\/strong> about gerrymandering and the maps. \u00a0Philosophically, values leading me to believe that a woman\u2019s right to make decisions over her own body should be just that, not made by the government but made by the person who\u2019s ultimately being affected by them. \u00a0I think on some of those hot-button issues, I can certainly tell you what my values are<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Notice that none of Prostasiewicz\u2019s comments above come from a basis in law.<\/strong>\u00a0 She hasn\u2019t stated that Wisconsin\u2019s Supreme Court was mistaken in how it applied the law, she hasn\u2019t cited statutes that she claims were not followed.\u00a0 Instead, she talks from her personal values<\/em><\/strong>, and she\u2019s called the members of the court \u201cright-wing extremists\u201d,<\/em> and said \u201cright-wing partisans hijacked\u201d<\/em> Wisconsin\u2019s Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

By Prostasiewicz\u2019s criticism of the Wisconsin Supreme Court as \u201cright-wing\u201d, Prostasiewicz makes it clear she looks at the Court through her own far-left progressive lens.\u00a0 This is evident by her own remarks, as well as from the endorsements Prostasiewicz has welcomed from far-left liberals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wisconsin\u2019s Supreme Court does not propose nor enact law, nor interpret the meaning of law, instead it is responsible for insuring that Wisconsin Law is being followed as written by Wisconsin\u2019s elected Legislature. \u00a0Per the Court\u2019s own website, the primary function of the Wisconsin Supreme Court<\/strong> is to \u201censure independent, open, fair and efficient resolution of disputes in accordance with the Federal and State of Wisconsin constitutions and laws\u201d.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The personal values of a Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice should never see the light of day in a Supreme Court case, only Wisconsin\u2019s Constitution and Law should apply\u2026..but Prostasiewicz\u2019s remarks make it clear she will render judgments based on \u2018her values\u2019<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/em>There is nothing open and fair about Prostasiewicz, her words make it clear that her far-left progressive mind is already made up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No doubt you\u2019ve heard the saying \u201cif it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck\u201d<\/em>.\u00a0 Well, replace the word \u2018duck\u2019<\/em> with \u2018far-left progressive liberal\u2019<\/em> and it describes Janet Prostasiewicz.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Janet Prostasiewicz IS PARTISAN<\/strong>.\u00a0 Janet Prostasiewicz IS A FAR-LEFT PROGRESSIVE<\/strong>.\u00a0 Janet Prostasiewicz welcomes endorsements by those on the progressive liberal far-left who wouldn\u2019t endorse her unless they are confident Prostasiewicz will judge Wisconsin Supreme court cases based on shared far-left progressive values, \u2018her values\u2019.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If Janet Prostasiewicz doesn\u2019t like or doesn\u2019t agree with Wisconsin\u2019s Constitution and Laws as written, if Prostasiewicz doesn\u2019t agree with the laws enacted by Wisconsin\u2019s Legislature, don\u2019t be surprised that she \u00a0rule in cases based on \u2018her values\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, ignoring Wisconsin\u2019s values and applying her liberal activist philosophy to legislate from the bench.<\/p>\n
