Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul filed the lawsuit within days of the US Supreme Court overturning <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.\u00a0 The defendants in the lawsuit are the district attorneys from Sheboygan, Milwaukee, and Madison\u2014all places where surgical or induced abortions were being performed before <em>Roe <\/em>was overturned.<\/p>\n<p>The defendants argued the judge should dismiss the lawsuit because AG Kaul does not have standing to bring the lawsuit because he is neither a doctor nor a mother who has been denied an abortion. The judge has not yet issued a decision.
