Tony Evers\u2019 2023-25 State Budget proposal:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWisconsin\u2019s business community will face many challenges in the coming years. A majority of employers believe we will enter a recession in 2023. Six in 10 are still battling double-digit inflation. And the biggest issue continues to be a workforce shortage that is leaving tens of thousands of jobs unfilled.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cUnfortunately, Gov. Evers\u2019 budget proposal would make it more expensive to manufacture products in our state and reverse a number of critical reforms that have kept us economically competitive. Instead of punishing businesses for investing in our local communities, we should be looking for ways to boost our economy and significantly reduce the tax burden on hard-working Wisconsinites.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWMC and our members look forward to working with the legislature and Gov.
