Since its inception in 2016, the contest has garnered more than one million votes from Wisconsinites, highlighting the manufacturing industry\u2019s economic output, career opportunities and innovative products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to see which of these 100+ products will be named the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin,\u201d said WMC\u2019s Vice President of Communications &amp; Marketing Nick Novak. \u201cNot only do these companies make products that are used all over the world \u2013 and even in outer space \u2013 they provide rewarding careers and support their local communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin is in its eighth year. WMC and Johnson Financial Group use the contest to showcase the state\u2019s manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>Manufacturers, employees and consumers alike are welcome to participate in the voting. Votes can be cast once per day, per device at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.madeinwis.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.madeinwis.com<\/a><\/span>. After the popular vote round ends on Sept. 26, the top 16 products will go on to compete in \u201cManufacturing Madness,\u201d a bracket-style tournament ultimately culminating with one champion.
