Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisconsinrightnow.com\/tammy-baldwin-iran\/\">supported Obama\u2019s Iran nuclear deal.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hovde, a conservative, has said he\u2019s considering getting into the race against Baldwin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIran would like to destroy our country. They are the biggest supporter of global terrorism,\u201d Hovde said to WRN. \u201cThey never complied with the requirements of the deal. Money flowed quickly to multiple terrorist groups and the deal blew up in their face. It is unimaginable to think Pres. Biden and Sen. Baldwin supported this second deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Baldwin said she was \u201cproud\u201d to support the Iran deal. \u201cI\u2019m proud that America led six countries toward an historic international agreement with Iran. I believe we are right to choose a path of international diplomacy\u2026\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baldwin.senate.gov\/news\/press-releases\/us-senator-tammy-baldwin-statement-in-support-of-iran-nuclear-agreement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">she said in a press release at the time.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we previously reported, Baldwin has a history of appeasement against Iran; in addition to supporting Obama\u2019s deal, she previously opposed sanctions against Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin also has a history of taking stances that are not supportive of Israel, including voting against a 2019 act that would have given Israel security assistance.
