GOVERNOR EVERS GRANTS $1.4 MILLION DOLLARS TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Under the guise of COVID relief dollars, Governor Tony Evers has awarded<\/a> over $1.4 million to Wisconsin\u2019s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. <\/p>\n

In an effort to aid non-profits whose aim is to provide \u201ccritical services to individuals in the areas of health care, housing and shelter, adult education, or other services being provided in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic,\u201d the Evers administration announced the \u201cCOVID Pandemic Response Nonprofit Grant Program.\u201d<\/p>\n

The $10 million program<\/a> is funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES Act) and the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), and according to the grant requirements, funds were to be allotted to non-profits \u201caimed at providing economic stabilization.\u201d<\/p>\n

To date, only $5.4 million of the available $10 million has been distributed, and 25% of that has gone directly to Wisconsin\u2019s many Planned Parenthood locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s outrageous that instead of spending federal COVID dollars responsibly to protect life, Governor Evers is prioritizing Planned Parenthood and its mission to kill unborn babies,\u201d remarked Wisconsin State Senator Julian Bradley.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood continues to be the nation and the state\u2019s largest abortion provider. In 2020, the abortion organization killed over 354,871 babies nationwide according to their annual report.<\/a> Planned Parenthood and organizations that profit from the killing of innocent children should be defunded and shut down. <\/p>\n
