Vos and Universities officials negotiated an agreement that late last week the Board of Regents rejected the deal. Assembly leadership issued a statement saying the Universities preferred to, quote, \u201ccontinue their ideological campaign to force students to believe only one viewpoint is acceptable on campus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So it\u2019s truly DEI or bust for the UW system. You have to wonder what the employees who were hoping for a raise think of the Regents rejecting the deal. The students are the real losers in this because they are denied the full perspective on critical issues.
