Under current law that\u2019s the reality for many of our churches. Churches without schools can permit concealed carry. A bill under consideration in the state legislature would change that and allow those churches to permit concealed carry to help ensure the safety of those who attend their services and activities whether during a school day or a non-school day.<\/p>\n<p>Churches, which are themselves private entities, with private schools should have the option to allow designated individuals to carry a concealed weapon. We need to afford churches with schools the same option as we do churches without schools.
