Following the release of the new rule, WMC Executive Vice President of Government Relations Scott Manley released the below statement:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Biden EPA\u2019s PM2.5 rule will turn much of Wisconsin\u2019s industrial base into a \u2018no-grow\u2019 zone. The rule is a manufacturing job killer that will force high-paying manufacturing jobs overseas. The reality is that Wisconsin has some of the cleanest air in the world, and imposing billions of additional dollars in regulatory costs will hurt middle class families without improving the environment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cManufacturers already pay over $29,000 per employee to comply with federal regulations, and this new rule will make it exponentially more expensive.
