The charges against accused pedophile Adam Westbrook, an alleged member of a Wisconsin chapter of the \u201cSisters of Perpetual Indulgence,\u201d reveal that the victim\u2014a prepubescent little boy\u2014is his own adopted son.<\/p>\n

Westbrook (pictured above) is facing charges of possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child, four counts each. The case was dismissed at the state level in a procedural move that transfers it to the U.S. Attorney-Western District of Wisconsin Office as a federal crime.<\/p>\n

At the time of his arrest last Friday, Westbrook was serving as the Human Resources Director for Outagamie County, and was employed part-time as a music director in the Kaukauna and Menasha School Districts. He started working for Outagamie County in September of 2023.<\/p>\n

He previously worked as Human Resources Director in nearby Sheboygan for nine \u201ctumultuous\u201d months. Westbrook resigned from that job on August 30th, 2023 \u201cunder a cloud of suspicion,\u201d\u00a0WHBL<\/a>\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n

Westbrook submitted his resignation from the Sheboygan position one week after an open records request was filed concerning allegations that he had made an unwanted homosexual innuendo toward a City of Sheboygan intern.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In his resignation letter, Westbrook stated: \u201cWhat I did not know was how callous, deliberately untruthful, and unwelcoming a small, but very vocal, part of this community would be. Since starting at the City, I have been subject to an onslaught of false, defamatory, and downright hateful statements and accusations coming from a small group of individuals who seem to relish in conspiracy theories, name-calling, and trying as hard as they can to rid the City of anyone who doesn\u2019t look, think, or act like them.\u201d<\/p>\n

City Attorney Charles Adams claimed at the time that he investigated the allegation and found no violation of City policy.<\/p>\n

The disturbing criminal complaint alleges that Westbrook recorded four videos of his adopted son, naked and engaging in sexually explicit conduct.<\/p>\n

The complaint further reveals that the pornographic videos of the prepubescent victim were forwarded by Westbrook to Kenosha County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy Preston Kite via Snapchat. The videos were recorded the morning of January 27th,\u201d WHBL reported. Detectives with the Kenosha County Sheriff\u2019s Office were able to track the location of the videos to a Wisconsin Dells resort.<\/p>\n

Communications between Kite and Westbrook, who had also used the monikers Adam James Vanden Heuvel and \u201csonofthebat7\u201d, also revealed that the two were well-known to each other and were aware of the illegal nature of the videos.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Kite was arrested on February 4th after he he allegedly exposed himself while in uniform at a truck stop bathroom in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. The investigation into that case led to the discovery of the videos and to Westbrook\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

According to WITI-TV in Milwaukee, Kite is accused of messaging a man on an app, telling him to come into a Racine County truck stop bathroom. That man said that upon arrival, he found Kite in uniform in the bathroom exposing himself. The man reported the incident to authorities the same day, launching an investigation by the Kenosha County Sheriff\u2019s Office. A search of Kite\u2019s phone revealed several sexually explicit videos which Kite said were sent to him by Westbrook, whom he called a friend. That deputy now faces charges of possession of child pornography, five counts of child sexual exploitation, lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Gays against Groomers, Kite had previously provided security at a Racine Pride drag queen story time.<\/p>\n

Westbrook is married to Michael Westbrook, a school teacher in the Menasha Joint School District. According to Michael Westbrook\u2019s\u00a0LinkedIn page,<\/a>\u00a0he is a \u201cFamily And Consumer Science\u201d teacher and member of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. The sexually exploited victim in the case is their adopted son.<\/p>\n

In June of 2022, the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (AAFCS)\u00a0presented<\/a>\u00a0Michael Westbrook with the 2022 New Achiever Award at the AAFCS conference in Orlando.<\/p>\n

In addition to his employment as Human Resources Director for Outagamie County, Adam Westbrook worked on school and community theater productions\u00a0 in the area, the\u00a0Post Crescent<\/a>\u00a0reported.<\/p>\n

School officials were reportedly \u201cshocked\u201d to learn that a \u201cdrag queen\u201d who dresses like a lewd and lascivious nun to mock the Catholic church might not be trusted around children.<\/p>\n

The schools are now disassociating themselves from the accused pedophile.<\/p>\n

Westbrook assisted with theater productions at the Menasha Joint School District and the Kaukauna Area School District. On Tuesday, MJSD superintendent Matt Zimmerman told The Post-Crescent Westbrook was no longer associated with the school.<\/p>\n

In a statement to parents last Friday, Zimmerman said, \u201cThis afternoon we were made aware of pending charges against Adam Westbrook. Adam Westbrook was assigned as an at-will co-curricular advisor for the Menasha High School musical. We are shocked by the charges. Mr. Adam Westbrook will not be assisting further with the musical.\u201d<\/p>\n

The same day, KASD superintendent Mike Slowinski also provided a statement to The Post-Crescent, also sent to parents last Friday:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis afternoon, we were made aware of pending charges in Sauk County against Adam Westbrook. Mr. Westbrook was the assistant director for the River View musical this year. Moving forward, he will no longer be assisting with the musical. We will continue to monitor the situation in Sauk County.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Westbrook also participated in the theater group Kaukauna Community Players on a regular basis, the Post Crescent reported.<\/p>\n
