Alliance Defending Freedom had filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration on behalf of the Christian Employers Alliance, alleging that the Administration was forcing religious employers to pay for \u201cgender transition surgeries, procedures, and treatments,\u201d which contradicts the employers\u2019 \u201cdeeply held beliefs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden Administration continues to assert that sex in Title VII encompasses sexual orientation and gender identity. This federal court shot down that assertion and has protected these Christian employers\u2019 First Amendment rights.
