{"id":9499,"date":"2024-03-14T09:00:29","date_gmt":"2024-03-14T10:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wifamily.news\/?p=9499"},"modified":"2024-03-14T11:09:24","modified_gmt":"2024-03-14T11:09:24","slug":"wfa-files-petition-to-block-a-constitutional-right-to-abortion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wifamily.news\/?p=9499","title":{"rendered":"WFA Files Petition to Block a \u201cConstitutional Right\u201d to Abortion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This post originally appeared at <a href=\"https:\/\/wifamilycouncil.org\/radio\/wfa-files-petition-to-block-a-constitutional-right-to-abortion\/\">https:\/\/wifamilycouncil.org\/radio\/wfa-files-petition-to-block-a-constitutional-right-to-abortion\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday afternoon, Wisconsin Family Action, Wisconsin Right to Life, and Pro-Life Wisconsin, three of the state\u2019s leading pro-life organizations, asked the state supreme court to allow them to intervene in the lawsuit that Attorney General Josh Kaul has filed alleging that Wisconsin\u2019s pre-<em>Roe<\/em> abortion ban is unenforceable. Recently AG Kaul, in conjunction with this lawsuit, asked the high court to also consider whether the state constitution has a so-called \u201cright\u201d to abortion.<\/p>\n<p>These organizations are asking to be part of this lawsuit because they have a very real and vested interest in this issue, especially now that the constitutional question is added.
