Cole presented the proposal on behalf of Do No Harm, an organization of medical professionals who oppose adding a “political agenda” to the healthcare industry.
Cole is making a valid point. Does the gender identity issue go both ways? The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says employers can’t discriminate based on gender identity. Well, Detransitioners are trying to regain their biological gender. Not covering their health care while covering gender transition interventions is discrimination and violates the EEOC’s policy.
