Last year well-known conservative attorney Robert George announced June as Fidelity Month. As he says, quote, “By the authority vested in me by absolutely no one, I have declared June to be ‘Fidelity Month’—a month dedicated to the importance of fidelity to God, spouses and families, and our country and communities.” Mr. George calls on citizens to focus on the positive and show courage as we demonstrate faithfulness to these core principles that are foundational to our free and prosperous society.

This month is challenging for people who are disturbed and even distraught over the so-called Pride emphasis that is so flagrant. Taking steps to do something positive to demonstrate our faithfulness to God, to marriage and family, and to our country and communities not only redirects our emotion and energy but subtly pushes back against what is negative and harmful.
