MADISON – Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) – the combined state chamber and manufacturers’ association – announced on Thursday Nick Burger’s promotion to Director of Membership.
“We are thrilled to promote Nick to this much-deserved role,” said WMC COO and Vice President of Membership & Partnerships Wade Goodsell. “Nick’s experience with the WMC team and members make him a great fit for the role, but it’s his work ethic and vision that make him an invaluable asset to the team and drive our mission forward.”
Burger joined WMC in 2017 as an intern and has held a variety of roles within the organization, including IT operations and working for WMC Foundation, Wisconsin Business World, and Wisconsin Safety Council.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue working toward WMC’s mission of making Wisconsin the most competitive state in the nation to do business in,” added Burger. “It’s an honor to be part of the team as we advocate for the business community and build relationships that will strengthen our state.”
Burger is a Wisconsin native and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and information technology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
