Evers says he has promised to fight for so-called reproductive freedom since Roe was overturned, and Kaul notes that the government should stay out of so-called “critical reproductive health decisions.”
Earlier this month the Wisconsin Supreme Court denied a joint request from Wisconsin Family Action, Wisconsin Right to Life, and Pro-Life Wisconsin to intervene in this case. Essentially the court said these pro-life organizations didn’t have sufficient cause to be involved. If the court has any fairness at all, it should also deny the governor and the attorney general’s request to intervene.
