Liberty Counsel pressured the school to recognize that under the First Amendment, both the Ramadan video and Easter video have equal protection under the law and reminding them schools must be viewpoint neutral.
Ultimately, the student was able to show the video to his class but not to the entire school. It is now on a public YouTube channel. This is a good reminder that no one is required to leave their faith at the front door when entering a school, and that the U.S. Constitution supports teachers’ and students’ freedom of religion and expression.
