Multiple Christian news outlets are reporting that Bible sales have skyrocketed twenty-two percent over the past year. Faith Wire calculates that Bible sales increased from nine point seven million in twenty nineteen to fourteen point two million in twenty twenty-three.  In the first ten months of this year, thirteen point seven million copies were sold. Experts believe anxiety about the state of our world is the driving force behind sales, pointing to artificial intelligence, election cycles, and cultural confusion as common reasons for anxiety.

Americans, especially young people, are searching for hope. At a time of deep cultural confusion and unrest everywhere, anxiety and depression are at all-time highs. The only lasting solution is Christ, who offers forgiveness and true peace. We hope the millions of people who bought Bibles this year truly come to know God through His Son Jesus.
