Earlier this year, Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty alongside America First Legal filed a lawsuit on behalf of an Eau Claire parents’ group that wanted to protect their children from the school district’s radical gender policies. This week the US Supreme Court narrowly denied a request to review the lower court’s dismissal of this case based on a lack of standing. The lower court asserted that the parents cannot challenge the policies until their children have been harmed by them. The merits of the case were never heard.

While this news is disappointing, we know it is not the end of the line when it comes to fighting for parental rights in Wisconsin and across the US. WILL and AFL will continue to pursue other cases and routes to ensure parents rightfully maintain their ability to protect their children from the radical transgender policies overtaking America’s public schools.
