Two statewide races will be on the ballot: State Superintendent of Public Instruction and a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice. Thousands of other local offices will be up for election, from mayors to alderpersons and village and town supervisors, from school board members to county officials and judicial positions. Anyone seeking to be on the ballot this spring must declare no later than Monday, January 6, by contacting their local clerk.
Running for a local office is very doable for many people, especially those in smaller communities. We need strong leaders to strengthen, preserve, and promote marriage, family, life and religious freedom in our state. Does that describe you or someone you know? If so, please prayerfully consider running for office this spring!
