A new survey from Lifeway Research found that 48% of Americans do not attend church services during the Christmas season, with 47% saying they do, and 5% saying they are unsure of their holiday church plans. Incredibly, 56% of the people who said they don’t attend services admitted they likely would do so if someone invited them during the Christmas season, including 17% who said they were “very likely” to respond affirmatively to such an invitation.

Are there people in your life who are simply waiting for an invitation to attend church with you? We encourage you to reach out to friends, family, and coworkers and invite them to join you for one of your church’s Christmas services this coming week. Who knows how God will use that opportunity to plant seeds in their life. Our greatest mission field is often in our own backyard.
