WMC released three reports on its most recent Wisconsin Employer Survey, detailing the economic outlook and policy priorities of the state’s business leaders. Kurt Bauer, President & CEO of WMC, highlighted findings of the State Policy Report, including concerns of rising health care costs and support for particular policies, like fee schedules and transparency legislation, that could help control these costs. Additionally, the number of businesses having trouble hiring has dropped to its lowest number in a decade, but Bauer notes that 62% is still “pretty darn high.”
