Last week, the US Treasury agreed to exclude certain individuals who create online pornographic material from the One Big Beautiful Bill’s No Tax on Tips benefit. The Treasury’s decision came after twenty-seven pro-family organizations and individuals, including Wisconsin Family Action, sent a letter to the Treasury requesting the site be excluded. The letter stated, “Our government should not give tax breaks to predatory industries that profit from exploiting young men and women, destroying marriages, families, and lives.”

The Treasury’s decision is great news for families in Wisconsin and across our nation. Too many men, women, and children are harmed every year by the ever-growing, ever-more-profitable pornography industry. We’re thankful the US Treasury has heeded the warning of these pro-family organizations and has made a decision that will benefit the American people.
