1.) What’s the biggest issue you’re hearing about from your constituents?
One of the biggest issues I’ve been hearing about is the workforce shortage. Businesses across the Northwoods are struggling to find reliable employees. In addition, the lack of workforce housing adds to and magnifies the problem.
2.) If you were given the opportunity to enact one reform, what would it be?
As a member of the State Building Commission, I feel the process the state uses to construct new buildings must be revamped. The current method doesn’t address the cost of future construction. As a result, taxpayers are on the hook for a project that may have been bid at an earlier pricing structure.
3.) Tell us something that people don’t know about you?
I am an antique and classic car enthusiast. I really enjoy driving vintage cars on the weekend, especially old Buicks.
