WMC Foundation’s new report, Wisconsin’s Demographic Dilemma, finds that Wisconsin’s aging population is contributing to the workforce shortage. The state’s population is also dropping, exacerbating the crisis.

WMC’s Senior Director of Workforce, Education & Employment Policy Rachel Ver Velde discussed findings of the report, and what Wisconsin can do to solve some of the issues.

“I think one other really important policy goal should be having a talent attraction campaign to make sure that we’re talking to people from other states and encouraging them to move to Wisconsin,” Ver Velde shared.
