As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, pro-lifers are encouraged by the recently released results of Gallup’s post-Dobbs Values and Beliefs Survey related to abortion. The number of people who think abortion should be illegal in all circumstances or legal in only a few circumstances has increased four percent to forty-nine percent, while the number of people who identify as pro-life has increased five percent to forty-four percent.
This survey also found that the number of people who believe abortion is morally wrong has increased three percent to forty one percent. That all of these statistics have improved is indeed heartening and tells us gaining ground in the pro-life cause is possible when we effectively reach both heads and hearts in this battle for life.
