PRO-LIFE WISCONSIN CALLS FOR PRAYER, PEACE, AND SAFETY

By Anna DeMeuse, Pro-Life Wisconsin Communications Director

Early Sunday morning, Pro-Life Wisconsin received news that the office of our ally, Wisconsin Family Action, had been attacked. The perpetrators set fire to the office, threw Molotov cocktails into the space, and wrote graffiti on the exterior of the building which read, “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

Thankfully, none of our friends at Wisconsin Family Action were present at the time of the attack. We pray for the entire staff that they may receive comfort in this unnerving time.

Julaine Appling, President of Wisconsin Family Action, commented, “This is the local manifestation of the anger and the lack of tolerance from pro-abortion people toward those of us who are pro-life.”

Violence begets violence. When we allow innocent children to be violently killed every day by abortion, it is no surprise that abortion defenders resort to violence in times like these. Those who did this must be held responsible under the law.

Dan Miller, Pro-Life Wisconsin State Director, stated, “An attack on one pro-life group is an attack on all. Pro-Life Wisconsin has worked closely with Wisconsin Family Action throughout the years, and we will continue to stand with them in these tumultuous times. Our prayers go out to Wisconsin Family Action.”

The pro-life community will not be intimidated nor relent in the face of fear-mongers. We will continue to peacefully work toward the protection of all human life, no matter the threat.

We ask that you join us in praying for Wisconsin Family Action and for the safety of every pro-life individual, including our staff here at Pro-Life Wisconsin.
