House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good, from Virginia, Representative Jim Banks from Indiana, and Representative Claudia Tenney from New York, introduced similar legislation to prohibit federal funding for NPR, including barring local public radio stations from utilizing money from federal grants to “purchase content or pay dues to NPR.”
NPR and its local public affiliates have been purveyors of liberal content for a long time. Unfortunately, they don’t always try to give both sides of an issue. I know this from years of experience with Wisconsin Public Radio. Kudos to these reps for introducing the bills. Maybe some of our Wisconsin delegation will join them as co-sponsors.
