Milwaukee Public School district is in serious trouble in numerous ways–declining enrollment, falling test scores, financial mismanagement, leadership—the list goes on. Concerned parents should be looking for alternative educational options for their children. The window is still open for eligible families to apply to be part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program and receive a voucher for their child to attend a private school in Milwaukee. Our state’s largest school district serves over sixty-nine thousand students. The children are the ones who are the victims in all this mess. This is a great reminder that parents are responsible for their children’s education. Thankfully, we have education freedom here, and MPS schools are not the only alternative. Educational options are available.
