As we begin the month of May, we want to celebrate the mothers and grandmothers in our lives as we look ahead to Mother’s Day. A mother’s influence on her children is immeasurable. She has the power to shape her child’s views of God and faith. In Second Timothy chapter one verse five we see a beautiful example of this generational truth. Paul writes to Timothy, quote, “I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.”

The future of our nation depends on godly mothers and fathers passing down their faith to their children. We encourage you not to wait for Mother’s Day, but to take time even today to thank and honor the women in your life who have loved you, invested in you, and have been an example for you.
