Last week, over 100 pro-life organizations from multiple states, including Wisconsin Family Action, signed a letter urging both Robert Kennedy, HHS Secretary, and Martin Makary, FDA Commissioner, to conduct a full review of the abortion drug, Mifepristone. After a shocking study revealed that the adverse effects of this drug are twenty-two times higher than previously reported, pro-life advocates refuse to let this important research be ignored. Secretary Kennedy has assured the public the Administration would review the information.

The previous safeguards surrounding the use of Mifepristone are now nonexistent. This reality makes the findings of this study more urgent than ever. At a minimum, the FDA and HHS should reinstate proper safeguards to protect women from the harmful effects of this drug.
