Last week, Wisconsin Democrat legislators began circulating four bills and two joint resolutions they claim is a comprehensive equality package, timed to coincide with so-called Pride Month. Combined, these measures would change state law and the constitution to include same-sex couples in many provisions that pertain to marriage, discipline and criminalize those who advise minors against gender transitions, use public funds to train school counselors and social workers on the LGBTQ+ agenda, and much more.

These provisions are harmful and out-of-touch with reality. Legislators are wrong to push this radical, dangerous agenda. Hopefully, other state legislators will withhold support from these bills and resolutions before they proceed to the introduction phase.
